Cibona has officially informed the public that Slaven Rimac is no longer head coach of the senior team from Zagreb.

As they have stated in their press release "Rimac stayed with the club when the times were toughest and helped club to exit its perhaps darkest days in entire history, which will remain appreciated. He also won the only Cibona"s trophy in the regional league, in 2014.”

The career of Slaven Rimac, both as a player and head coach, is bond to the Wolves from Tuškanac. After he began his senior career in 1989, Rimac moved to Cibona already a season later and played for the Zagreb team for 10 years of his career. As a head coach he made his debut with Cibona during 2013/14 season and already in his first season he won the ABA League championship winner trophy, which was the first time in the history of the Zagreb club.
