We have the MVP of the eighth round of the season and unlike the the previous four rounds he does not come from the ranks of Cibona – it is Shawn James of Budućnost VOLI for the first time season. Shawn led his team towards the win against – Cibona – with the valuation of 39!

At the match between Budućnost VOLI and Cibona, Shawn James achieved 29 points, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 assists and just as many steals. This was enough for the valuation 39, the highest amongst all players this round and the third highest this season, after Ante Žižić (56 against MZT Skopje Aerodrom) and Ivan Marinković (41 against FMP)!

However, what makes things more impressive is that Shawn James used his quality not only to fill in his statistical categories, but also helped his team achieve a victory in one of the most exciting games this season, against a rival for one of the Playoffs spots, Cibona, which is led by the MVP of October Ante Žižić.

This is what earned Shawn James the MVP of the round title.

Watch some of the fancy moves by Shawn James from the game against Cibona:

Shawn James was also the top scorer of the round, while with 12 rebounds he shared the title of the best rebounder of the round with Karlo Žganec of Cedevita and Alpha Kaba of Mega Leks. Top passer of the round is Kendrick Perry of Karpoš Sokoli (10 assists), while Mislav Brzoja of Zadar earned himself the title of the "best ball thief" with 4 steals made.
