Game recap: Crvena zvezda mts have won the 1st trophy in the new season after beating Budućnost VOLI in the 2018 ABA Super Cup Final. The red & whites have finished the job already until the halftime, as they had a 25-point lead at the big break – 57:32. And, they were too good this evening to drop that lead in the rest of the match. Crvena zvezda mts have therefore won the ABA Super Cup trophy for the 1st time in their history.
Key moments: The first half was the key. Crvena zvezda mts had just an outstanding shooting night. These are their numbers in the first half: FG2: 13/19 - 68.4%; FG3: 9/14 - 64.3%; FT: 4/5 - 80%. It looked like that they cannot miss a single shot. And on top of all that, they played a great defense. Zvezda were just a lot better than Budućnost in this match.
Man of the match: Mo Faye has put up another great performance in Crvena zvezda mts jersey. In the 2018 ABA Super Cup Final he had 14 points and 4 rebounds. And, he was nemed the MVP of the whole tournament!
