EL: Budućnost were defeated by Baskonia on the road
Unfortunately, the reigning ABA League champions suffered their 6th consecutive defeat in the 2018/19 EuroLeague regular season.

This was not really the best day for Budućnost VOLI. After they found out that Cedevita won their match in ABA League and therefore seized the 2nd spot on the standings, the Blue squad then suffered a road defeat against Baskonia in Round 26 of the 2018/19 EuroLeague regular season.
The reigning ABA League champions played a solid first half after which they were down by just 5 points - 39:34. However, Baskonia increased the pace after the break and the home team did not need long to escape to a double-digit lead. At the end of the 3rd quarter the Spanish team were up by 15 points - 64:49, while the final score was 82:62 for Baskonia.
Budućnost VOLI had two players who scored 10+ points in this match. Norris Cole made 17, while Earl Clark scored 13 points.
