Domestic Leagues: Cibona have won the 2018/19 Croatian Championship
For the first time since 2013 and for the 19th time in club’s history Cibona have won the Croatian Championship!

For the first time since 2013 and for the 19th time in club’s history Cibona have won the Croatian Championship!
And they just could not have wished for a better way to reclaim the domestic title after so many years. Cibona have defeated their city rivals Cedevita by 4-0 in the final series, while this last and crucial win came after an unbelievable comeback! The Wolves were down by 17 points in the 33th minute – 68:85, but they managed to bounce back and eventually take the win thanks to Dominic Gilbert who scored the game-winning 2 pointer on just 2 seconds before the end – 100:98.
Cibona have therefore ended the reign of Cedevita who have won the last 5 titles in the Croatian Championship.
