Sixt Primorska managed to keep an important member of their golden team, which led the club of Koper in the 2018/19 season to four trophies. Or put it differently – which has conquered every single competition, where the team had played. Led by 32-year old Marko Jagodić-Kuridža, the Tigers of Koper have won the Slovenian Supercup and paved their way into fantastic season.

The experienced player was the leader of the squad, led from the bench by Jurica Golemac also in the Playoffs of the ABA League 2, where Sixt Primorska swept the series both in the Semi-finals and Finals. By winning the championship trophy, the Tigers won their place in the elite regional basketball competition, ABA League, which was their main goal ahead of the season. Later Jagodić-Kuridža led Primorska to Slovenian National Cup and Slovenian National Championship trophies as well.

After extension of his contract Jagodić-Kuridža was evidently satistifed: “I feel great in Koper. The town offers excellent living conditions and at the same time the whole Sixt Primorska staff is doing their best in order for us to think only about basketball. The additional reason for me to stay was the last fairy-tale season. After everything mentioned in place I did not have any doubt about my stay in Koper. I am happy and grateful to the club’s management, for offering me a contract extension. I will do my best to help Sixt Primorska achieve its objectives in the future as well and for sure they will be high. I like it, as the challenges are driving me forward. I eagerly await for the first games of the new season and to see our fans again.”

To mi je všeč, izzivi me ženejo naprej. Komaj čakam na prve tekme nove sezone in vnovično snidenje z našimi enkratnimi navijači."
