Slobodan Subotić is the new Budućnost VOLI head coach

Budućnost VOLI have agreed on cooperation with new head coach – Slobodan Subotić.

After a successful playing career, Slobodan Subotić began his coaching career at Iraklis. He used to coach all of the Greek basketball powerhouses, such as Iraklis, AEK, Panathinaikos, Panionios, PAOK and Olympiacos. He also coached Split, Cedevita and Cibona. He used to be national team head coach of Slovenia and Lebanon.

As a player, he became champion of Greece five times and won the Greek National Cup just as many times. As a head coach, he became Radivoj Korać Cup champion, Greek champion twice, Greek National Cup champion and was three times named the best coach of the season in Greece.

Slobodan Subotić novi šef stručnog štaba Budućnosti VOLI

Budućnost VOLI je dogovorila saradnju sa novim trenerom – Slobodanom Subotićem.

Nakon igračke karijere Slobodan Subotić je započeo svoju trenersku karijeru u Iraklisu. Vodio je sve najveće klubove u Grčkoj, poput Iraklisa, AEK-a, Arisa, Panathinaikosa, Panioniosa, Paoka i Olympiacosa. Takođe, vodio je i Split, Cedevitu i Cibonu. Osim klubova Subotić je vodio i selekcije Slovenije i Libana.

Kao igrač, pet puta je bio šampion Grčke, a isto toliko puta je osvojio i Kup Grčke. Kao trener osvojio je Kup Radivoja Koraća, dva šampionata Grčke, Kup Grčke dok je dva puta proglašen za najboljeg trenera u Grčkoj.
