Two-time NBA champion James Michael McAdoo joins Partizan NIS

It is official! Partizan NIS have signed a contract with 27-year old center James Michael McAdoo.

McAdoo spent the first part of the season in Turkey where he played for Besiktas, while before that he played one season for Italian side Auxilium Torino. Still, he is much more famous for his time spent in the NBA, as he won two NBA championships with the Golden State Warriors (2015, 2017).

What is also interesting to mention is that McAdoo played with Marcus Paige at the University of North Carolina, while the two of them will now be teammates in Partizan NIS.  

James Michael McAdoo has already joined his new team and he will wear the black & white jersey with number 8 on its back.

Džejms Majkl Mekadu je novi košarkaš Partizana NIS

Osvajač dva šampionska prstena NBA lige, zadužio je crno-beli dres sa brojem osam!

Džejms Majkl Mekadu, doskorašnji košarkaš Bešiktaša i nekadašnji igrač Golden Stejt Voriorsa, Filadelfije i Torina pojačao je redove Partizana NIS. Novi igrač crno-belih, doputovao je u Beograd gde je nakon obavljenih lekarskih pregleda, zadužio opremu i priključio se treninzima Partizana.

Diplomac Univerziteta Severna Karolina, na kojem je igrao sa Markusom Pejdžom, bio je deo šampionske generacije Golden Stejt Voriorsa, sa kojom je osvojio dve šampionske titule u NBA ligi. Na Starom kontinentu, Mekadu je igrao za Torino u sezoni 2018/19. da bi tekuću sezonu započeo u Bešiktašu iz kojeg je stigao u redove Partizana NIS.

Džejms Mekadu je rođen 4. januara 1993, igra na pozicijama centra i krilnog centra, a u ovoj sezoni će nositi crno-beli dres sa brojem osam.
