The World of Stats

Marin Rozić (Cibona) marked the opening game of Round 17 between Cibona and Budućnost VOLI as he made 4 rebounds in that match and reached the overall number of 1315 rebounds in his ABA League career. Rozić has therefore made his way past Todor Gečevski (1314 rebs) to clinch the 1st place on the ABA League All-Time Rebounds list. Marin Rozić is now holding the 1st place on several All-Time lists. He is at the top of the All-Time Games Played list (373 games), All-Time Scoring Leaders list (2824 points), All-Time Defensive Rebounds list (1032 def. rebs – the only one in the history of ABA to make 1000+ def. rebs) and All-Time Field Goals Made list (1044 FG made – also the only one in the history of ABA to make 1000+ FG).

Ognjen Jaramaz (Partizan NIS) played his 100th game in the ABA League last weekend. Jaramaz made 79 appearances for Mega Bemax and 21 so far for Partizan NIS. During those 100 games, Ognjen Jaramaz has made 913 points, 252 rebounds and 275 assists. In the last-round match between Partizan NIS and Zadar, Jaramaz scored 3 three-pointers and therefore reached the 100+ made 3-pointers milestone.

In the same match, Nemanja Gordić (Partizan NIS) scored his 300th three-pointer in the ABA League and has therefore become only the 8th player in the regional competition to make 300+ three-pointers. Gordić also made 10 assists in that match and has therefore become the 1st player ever to reach 900+ assists in the ABA League (909 assists).

A week ago, Ive Ivanov (Zadar) tied his score with Alen Omić and Boris Savović at the 10th place of the All-Time Offensive Rebounds list. This weekend, Ivanov made 3 offensive rebounds in the away match against Partizan NIS and he is now standing all alone at the 10th place of the All-Time Offensive Rebounds list with the overall number of 287 offensive rebounds. Ivanov needs 18 more offensive rebounds to reach Vladan Vukosavljević who is holding the 9th place.

By scoring 11 points in the match against Mega Bemax on the road, Luka Lapornik (Krka) has reached the 1000+ points milestone (1005 points).

Uroš Luković (Mornar) has made it to the 14th place on the All-Time Offensive Rebounds list. By making 3 offensive rebounds in the match against FMP, Luković has reached a total number of 276 offensive rebounds and has moved in front of Frano Čolak (275 off. rebs) on the All-Time Offensive Rebounds list. In the same match, Uroš Luković made 6 blocks, which is the 3rd time in this season that Mornar's starting center had 6+ blocks in a single game. Before Luković, only Slavko Vraneš had had 3 games with 6+ blocks in a single season (2004/05 season). If we add that Luković’s teammate Mirza Begić had 6 blocks in Round 9, it means that at least one of Mornar players has made 6+ blocks in a single game 4 times in this season. No other club has achieved that in the history of ABA League.

Partizan NIS team made just 4 turovers in the match against Zadar and that is the lowest number of turovers made by any ABA League team in a single game in the 2019/20 season. Mornar had 8 blocks in the match against FMP, mostly thanks to Uroš Luković, while that was the 6th time in this season that some team made 8+ blocks in a single game. Interesting enough, Mornar was the one making 8+ blocks in a single game 5 out of those 6 times.
