EC: Partizan NIS beat Virtus in Bologna and qualified for Quarter-finals
Partizan NIS have achieved a big and important win in the fifth round of the EuroCup Top 16, as they have defeted Segafredo Virtus on the road in Bologna. With this win, they have already qualified for the EuroCup Quarter-finals.

Partizan NIS will be continuing their EuroCup Top 16 journey with four victories and still only a single defeat on their record after five rounds played, as they have beaten Segafredo Virtus on the road in Bologna and qualified for the Quarter-finals, one game ahead of the end of the second stage of the competition.
The hosts have started the game strongly and led by 5 points after the opening quarter and by 12 at halftime. However, the black and white of Belgrade did not give up and fought back hard in the second half. They have cut their deficit to only 5 points with 10 minutes to go and in the final quarter, they have completed a major comeback.
For Partizan NIS, Corey Walden led the way in scoring with 29 points, while Rashawn Thomas added 10.
