Melvin Ejim joins Budućnost VOLI
This 29-year old forward spent the previous season in Unicaja Malaga.

Budućnost VOLI announced that they have signed a contract with 29-year old forward Melvin Ejim.
During his college days, Melvin Ejim played four years for the Iowa State University (2010-2014). After finishing his studies, he immediatelly went overseas and joined the Italian side Virtus Roma for the 2014/15 season. He remained in the Italian capital for one year, while after that he spent the 2015/16 season in the NBA G League playing for the Erie BayHawks.
In the following season, Melvin Ejim returned to Italy to join Reyer Venezia and he helped this team win the 2016/17 Italian Championship. Ejim was named the 2016/17 Italian Championship Finals MVP.
After winning the domestic title in Italy, this 201cm tall Canadian forward moved to Russia where he signed a contract with UNICS Kazan. He stayed in UNICS from 2017 to 2019, before joining Spanish side Unicaja Malaga where he spent the 2019/20 season. Interesting enough, Ejim played for Unicaja Malaga when this team faced Budućnost VOLI in the 2019/20 EuroCup season.
So far in the 2020 summer transfer window, Budućnost VOLI have extended contracts with head coach Petar Mijović and with players Suad Šehović, Justin Cobbs, Nikola Ivanović and Nikola Ilić, while this team have so far added two new players into the 2020/21 roster – Rashad Vaughn (Igokea) and Melvin Ejim (Unicaja Malaga).

Kanadski košarkaš, Melvin Ejim, novo je pojačanje KK Budućnost Voli!
Ejim je rođen u Torontu, visok je 201cm i igra na pozicijama krilnog centra i krila. Na koledžu je nastupao 4 godine za Iowa State od 2010. do 2014. godine. U svojoj seniorskoj godini bilježio je sjajnih 17.8 poena, 8.4 skoka i 1.2 ukradene lopte po meču. U Evropu stiže u ekipu Virtus Rome gdje je igrao jednu sezonu (2014/15). Nakon godine dana u razvojnoj NBA ligi (Erie BayHawks) vraća se u Italiju u ekipu Venezia-e. Sa Venezia-om osvaja Italijansku ligu i biva proglašen za MVP finalne serije. Iz Italije seli se dvije sezone u Rusiju, tačnije ekipu Unics-a. Prošlu sezonu je proveo u ekipi Unicaja Malage sa kojom je igrao protiv naše ekipe u sklopu grupe D Evrokupa.
