Game recap: In the ABA League classic, Union Olimpija has outsgunned Cibona in Zagreb deservedly, after being ahead throughout the game. However, the Dragons had to put in all of their strengths in order to protect their advantage in the final seconds, as Cibona came close, but not close enough.

Key moments: In the final three minutes of the first half the guests stepped up and created a 9:1 run by half time, which they won with the score 43:36. During the third quarter, the difference rose up to 18 points (41:59), but Cibona managed to come back into the battle for the victory late in the last quarter. With few seconds left, the tragic hero Dardan Berisha had the chance to take the game into the overtime, as Cibona was 77:75 down. He penetrated to the rim and tried a lay-up, but missed.

Man of the match: Zack Wright is the hero of the game for the winning side. Besides the fact, that his successfully executed pair of free throws gave Union Olimpija the decisive 77:75 lead, he was also the top scorer of the guests with 16 points, which he combined with 6 rebounds and just as many assists. He was such an enigma for the home side, that even Dominik Mavra, who tried his best to stop his man, got fouled out before the end.

Can't trick the stats: Even though Union Olimpija had 7 rebounds less than the home side, they managed to win and they did it by breathing as one. Their teamwork resulted in no less than 21 assists, 10 more than the opponent had and this made the difference.
