Tough Euroleague night for Cedevita and Zvezda

ABA League representatives Cedevita and Crvena zvezda Telekom suffered defeats in the second round of the first stage of Euroleague. While Cedevita lost to Limoges in a home-court thriller, Crvena zvezda Telekom was left without a chance on a road against Real Madrid.

In their second test of this season's Euroleague campaign, Cedevita suffered a second defeat, but it has been a close one at the home court against CSP Limoges. After a thriller of the final seconds, the French were better with the final score of 84:80.

Jacob Pullen was the top scorer of the home side with 21 points, while Miro Bilan followed him with 19 on his account.

Crvena zvezda Telekom travelled to Madrid in the second round of the first stage of competition to face Real Madrid and it turned out to be a trip that the Belgrade squad would prefer to miss if only that was possible. It was a one-sided contest and the home team prevailed in the end with no less than 27 points of margin.

For Crvena zvezda Telekom, Maik Zirbes stood out with 15 points, while Marko Simonović added 12.
