Tajfun, Cibona and Krka to start FIBA Europe Cup journey

ABA League will have three representatives in FIBA Europe Cup 2016 - Tajfun, Cibona and Krka will defend the honor of our competition.

All three of them will play their opening games today. Krka will go first, they will host FC Porto in Novo mesto (Wednesday, 18:30 CET). Two other teams in this Group G are Fraport Skyliners and Zorg En Zekerheid Leiden.

Tajfun will also start their FIBA Europe Cup campaign at home. The rival is CEZ Basketball Nymburk (Wednesday, 19:00 CET). Two teams are placed in Group F together with Bakken Bears Aarhus and Hibernia Basketball.

Finally, Cibona are playing their opening match in Lisbon against SL Benfica (Wednesday, 22:00 CET). Other rivals for Zagreb side in Group B will be PO Antwerp Giants and Sopron KC.
