FIBA EUROPE CUP: Cibona and Krka victorious, no luck for Tajfu

Cibona and Krka scored valuable wins over Portuguese clubs at the start of FIBA Europe Cup, while Tajfun had to lay down their weapons in front of CEZ Nymburk.

They are great teams in football, but in basketball they are no match for ABA League teams. Krka and Cibona defeated Portuguese giants FC Porto and SL Benfica.

Erjon Kastrati led Krka toward a home win over FC Porto. Excellent shooting guard scored 5 three-pointers in this game which was quite enough to push his team in front of the rivals. On the other side, Cibona outplayed Sl Benfica on the road, mostly thanks to James Florence who finished the match with 25 points!

Unfortunately, this was not a perfect night for ABA League clubs in FIBA Europe Cup, as Tajfun got defeated at home by CEZ Nymburk.
