Game recap: It has all started like a dream for Partizan NIS. Away crew have escaped to a double digit lead already in the first quarter - 24:13, but it hasn"t really lasted for a long time. Because, Crvena zvezda Telekom opened the second quarter with a 13:0 run and went ahead at 26:24! Both sides continued with tough battle until the halftime, while eventually the red and whites had the lead at the big break - 45:40.
It turned out that Crvena zvezda Telekom stayed in front all the way till the end of the game! Partizan NIS only managed to stay close couple of times during the third quarter, but that was it. At the beginning of the last period everything was over. Home team increased the lead to 78:61 and then just performed a routine finishing.
Key moments: Definitely the key moments happened at the end of the third quarter and at the beginning of the fourth period. Crvena zvezda Telekom made a 15:1 run and escaped from 65:60 to 80:61… Still, we would dare to say that the beginning of the second quarter was crucial for the confidence of the home squad. Simply because Partizan NIS had the right momentum, but with some strong defense and even better offense Crvena zvezda Telekom managed to come back from the big deficit and to take over the control of the game.
Man of the match: It is very difficult to choose. There were six players with double digits in the winning side. Quincy Miller was the top scorer with 17 points, Gal Mekel had 12 points and 9 assists, Vladimir štimac 13 points and 11 rebounds...But, perhaps the X factor in this game was Branko Lazić. He had 4/5 for 3pts and some of those baskets came in crucial moments for his team.
