ABA League 9th round, Saturday, 7.11.2015:
Igokea - KRKA 54:65 (15:21, 19:15, 12:13, 8:16)
Game recap: Well, now we can all say that Krka are on a winning streak! Team from Novo mesto defeated Igokea on the road and scored their third win in a row in ABA League. Despite playing without one of their best players Mirko Mulalić, the visitors showed some great team play and managed to break the rival in just 7 minutes...
Key moments: ...This was a very close game for 28 minutes. In that moment, Igokea had the lead 43:39, but, as we have already mentioned, the following 7 minutes were a complete nightmare for the home side. Because, Krka made 19:3 run!!! Yes you read it correctly! That score 43:39 in 28th minute changed into 46:58 in 35th minute! There was no time for any major comeback and Krka kept the lead until the end.
Man of the match: Luka Lapornik has once again showed how good he is from long range. And, what is even more important, he showed a true winning character as he did not let some missed shots change his attitude. In crucial moments, Lapornik made two 3pts shots, which were the beginning of that 19:3 run of the away team.
Can't trick the stats: Igokea were simply not good offensively. They missed to many shots, especially for 3pts - 5/29! After all, with 54 points you can't really hope to win the match.
