Can MZT upset the champion?

Crvena zvezda Telekom is travelling to Skopje with a huge boost of a victory in the eternal derby from the last round, but not an easy job is coming up for them, since MZT Skopje Aerodrom still haven't suffered a single defeat at home court.

Story of the game: Another derby game is coming up, for the end of the 9th round, as MZT Skopje Aerodrom, still undefeated at home court of Jane Sandanski Arena, is about to host the last year's regional league champion Crvena zvezda Telekom, which is currently placed on second spot and is heading towards the game after a win in the last round's derby against the eternal rival of Partizan NIS.

The victory would confirm MZT Skopje Aerodrom's playoffs ambitions, while it would push Crvena zvezda Telekom on the frontrunner position again, since Budućnost VOLI have fallen in Pionir this round against Partizan NIS.

Zvezda will play this game without injured Nemanja Dangubić and captain Luka Mitrović, while Aleš Pipan on the other side is unable to count on captain Marko Simonovski.

Match-up in focus: Two of the best point guards of the league will compare their strengths on Monday night as Marko Ljubičić, the man who is perhaps the most responsible for the latest excellent performances of MZT, will have a challenge to outplay Zvezda's creative mastermind Gal Mekel.
