Game recap: Tajfun keep winning. Team from šentjur have scored their 5th win in the last 6 rounds of the ABA League! Most of those wins they have achieved thanks to great offense, but today it was quite opposite. Tajfun let Sutjeska score just 51 points for the entire game! In two out of four quarters, the hosts failed to reach double-digits... It was defense that brought the win to the visitors.
The defeat was not the worst thing for Sutjeska this evening. Aleksa Popović had to leave the court due to ankle injury and we are about to see how much he will be sidelined.
Key moments: At one point of the game it looked like that Sutjeska might make a stunning comeback. The home side made 12:0 run and reduced the deficit from 30:47 to 42:47 just before the fourth quarter. But, Tajfun opened the last period with 4 points in a row and then increased their defense to that measure that Sutjeska managed to score only 9 points for the last 10 minutes.
Man of the match: Domen Bratož has once again showed that he is in fantastic form. Point guard of Tajfun reached double-double achievement with 11 points and 10 rebounds, while on top of that he had 6 steals! His overall index rating was 24.
Can't trick the stats: Two teams had very similar stats, they even finished the game with the same overall index rating. But, Tajfun had 10 more two-pointers that went through the basket than Sutjeska. Those points made difference at the end.
