Mulaomerović: "I like being a coach of this team"

Damir Mulaomerović started with coaching job in Cibona just the way he wanted - with a win against the eternal rival Zadar. At the end of the first episode of his Zagreb story he stated that he is satisfied to get the team like Cibona under his command.

"I wish to congratulate my players on fantastic battle. Zadar has demonstrated that it is a team that plays in the same rhythm for 45 minutes. We knew what was waiting for us and probably even the players themselves are not aware of the value of this game in order for us to gain some peace in the forthcoming period. Everyone gave their contribution in this win. This is a new story and we will take on one game at the same time. I was guided by the thought that we should win the game since this is the most important thing for us at this moment. I am satisfied and glad that my debut has begun with a win. We have the communication, we have worked well, talked a lot and it has turned out to be a good thing. I like being a head coach of this team” told the Wolves" head coach Damir Mulaomerović after the game.

Mulaomerović: "Sviđa mi se biti trener ove ekipe"

Damir Mulaomerović je počeo sa trenerskim poslom u Ciboni baš na način na koji je to i želio - sa pobjedom protiv vječitog rivala Zadra. Na kraju prve epizode svoje zagrebačke priče izjavio je da je zadovoljan time, što je dobio u ruke momčad kakva je Cibona.

"Čestitao bih mojim igračima na fantastičnoj borbi. Zadar je večeras pokazao da je to ekipa koja 45 minuta igra u istom ritmu. Znali smo što nas čeka, vjerojatno ni igrači nisu sami svjesni koliko je ova pobjeda za nas egzistencijalna da dobijemo neki mir u narednom periodu. Svi su dali svoj doprinos u ovoj pobjedi. Ovo je nova priča, ići ćemo utakmicu po utakmicu. Mene je vodila misao da dobijemo utakmicu jer nam je to u ovom trenutku najvažnije. Ja sam prezadovoljan i drago mi je da je moj debi startao s pobjedom. Imamo komunikaciju, radili smo dobro, puno smo razgovarali i pokazalo se da je to pridonijelo pobjedi. Sviđa mi se biti trener ove ekipe,” rekao je nakon utakmice novi trener vukova Damir Mulaomerović.
