Olimpija reached Eurocup Last 32!

With a road win over EWE Baskets in Oldenburg, Union Olimpija have won the final third place in Eurocup Regular Season Group A and qualified for the Last 32 phase of the competition. Budućnost VOLI trashed Steaua for the end of their European journey this season.

Union Olimpija continue their successful tradition of Eurocup appearances and will once again continue their European journey after the New Year"s, since they have taken the final third place in Regular Season Group A. To do so, they needed to beat German side EWE Baskets on the road in Oldenburg and they did it deservedly despite the thriller in the final seconds, as they have led throughout the game, most of the time with double digit margin.

The final score is 77:75 for the Dragons, for which Saša Zagorac had an amazing night with 23 points, while Sava Lešić followed him with 18.

In the Last 32 phase, Union Olimpija will compete in Group M, together with Unics Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and either Maccabi Tel Aviv or Darussafaka.

Budućnost VOLI have ended their Eurocup campaign with a monstruous performance against Steaua. They have beaten the opponent from Bucharest with no less than 33 points of margin. Everything was decided already in the first half, which Luka Pavićević"s squad have won by 19 points, while in the second part, they have only increased their advantage. Sead šehović led the way for the hosts with 17 points, while Nemanja Jaramaz and Bojan Subotić followed him with 13 each.
