Story of the game: It was October 7... Almost two months ago Budućnost VOLI traveled to Belgrade and suffered a road defeat against Partizan NIS. It was their last defeat in ABA League! After that game the Blue squad scored 8 wins in a row and claimed the top spot on the standings. Now, they want to begin the 2016 journey right where they left off in 2015...
On the other side, Tajfun arrive in Podgorica with three consecutive defeats behind them. They haven't really finished the previous year on a good way, but that might be additional motivation for the visitors to present their true face against the leader. Tajfun have already showed in this season that they can be a worthy opponent to much more powerful teams.
Match-up in focus: Omar Cook is the brain of Budućnost VOLI, while Domen Bratož has that role in Tajfun. Both of them are having a really good season, so it will be interesting to see them one against other.
