Partizan NIS replaced Božić with Džikić

After the game in Nikšić, Partizan NIS decided to replace the senior team"s head coach. Instead of the captain with the largest number of trophies in the history of the club, Petar Božić, with which they have mutually agreed to terminate cooperation, Partizan NIS senior team will be led by Aleksandar Džikić from the bench.

The new black and white head coach has been in charge of Macedonia national team since June 2015. Before that, he was the head coach of Krka (twice), Union Olimpija and Lietuvos Rytas. Before becoming the head coach for the first time at Olimpija, Džikić worked two seasons as an assistant coach in Minnesota Timberwolves. Between 1999 and 2005, Aleksandar Džikić was an assistant coach at Partizan NIS.

In his career so far, the new black and white tactician has won the EuroChallenge Cup trophy, four Slovenian national championship trophies and two Slovenian national cup trophies. As an assistant coach of Partizan NIS, Džikić became national champion four times and national cup champion twice.

Partizan NIS zamenio Božića Džikićem

Nakon meča u Nikšiću, Partizan NIS je doneo odluku o promeni trenera prvog tima. Umesto najtrofejnijeg kapitena u istoriji kluba, Petra Božića, sa kojim je sporazumno došlo do prekida saradnje, ekipu Partizana će u narednom periodu predvoditi Aleksandar Džikić.

Novi trener crno-belih, do juna 2015. godine je radio kao selektor reprezentacije Makedonije. Pre toga, on je trenirao ekipu Krke iz Novog Mesta u dva navrata, ljubljansku Olimpiju i Lijetvus Ritas. Pre samostalnih angažmana, Džikić je radio dve godine kao pomoćni trener u Minesota Timbervulfsima . Od 1999. do 2005. godine, Aleksandar Džikić je radio na mestu pomoćnog trenera Partizana NIS.
