Game recap: Tajfun could resist Zadar only for a quarter at home in Celje in the second game of those two teams this season. Dejan Mihevc"s side started the game exceptionally well and mostly for their solid distance shooting, they were in front by six points, as the first quarter buzzer went on. However, this is when their blackout began and Zadar turned the game completely around in the remainder of the clash. It was a one sided contest since the 11th minute and so is the final score.
This is a huge win for Zadar, which managed to end their six games long winning streak. They will now have some peace before the forthcoming games in the regional competition.
Key moments: It seemed at moments during the second and third quarter like the home side were completely helpless and practically only one team were on court during this period. Zadar won the second quarter by 18 points and third by 11 (altogether by 29), held a 65:42 lead before the beginning of last quarter and everything was decided.
Man of the match: There is only one name that can be chosen for our man of the match honour - Glenn Cosey. The American point guard in Dalmatian ranks achieved 25 points (with 5/7 from beyond the arc), 4 assists, 3 rebounds and a steal and led the way for his team towards the victory.
Can't trick the stats: Zadar have shown an amazing teamwork during the game. They collected 22 assists in 40 minutes which helped cover the fact that they also had no less than 14 rebounds and helped them to win comfortably.
