Dragons with not enough fire against Unics

Union Olimpija have suffered a defeat also in their second Eurocup Last 32 appearance. After being defeated against Maccabi FOX in the opening game, they suffered a defeat at home in Stožice against the strong Russian side Unics Kazan.

The green and white from Ljubljana keep waiting for their first success in the second stage of the Eurocup, as they have suffered a defeat also against Unics Kazan, after previously failing to triumph against Maccabi FOX in Tel Aviv. The Russian side were in front for the majority of the game, after taking an early lead in the first half and sticked to it until the end.

The final score was 89:83 in favour of the guests, for which Keith Langford led the way with 27 points scored. For Union Olimpija Zack Wright was the most efficient with 18 points, while Saša Zagorac followed him with 16.
