Game recap: Just by looking at the final score, someone would think that this was a walk in the park for Mega Leks. But, it was not really the case. The hosts had to sweat their jerseys pretty much to break resistance of the persistent rivals. Tajfun were in this game for 25 minutes, seriously treating that that could perhaps make a major break. But, then Mega Leks closed all ways toward their basket and made a stunning 21:1 run that decided the winner.
Key moments: The most of the game looked like this - Mega Leks would escape to a double digit lead, but Tajfun would then reduce the margin to only couple of points… And it lasted all the way until the third quarter. Then, at the score of 52:49, Mega Leks made a 21:1 run!!! 21:1!!! The overall score therefore changed into 73:50… It was all over.
Man of the match: Boris Savović lacked only 3 rebounds to complete a double-double achievement. He finished the game with 20 points and 7 rebounds, while his overall index rating was 22.
Can"t trick the stats: Mega Leks have once again showed their team game as they collected 27 assists in this match! Also, they were fighting for every ball, which brought them 15 offensive rebounds. Those are some numbers that are indeed hard to beat.
