Story of the game: MZT Skopje Aerodrom suffered two defeats in a row in ABA League and both of them came after a pretty dramatic finish. Still, the situation is not yet dramatic for MZT, as they are still above the relegation zone and the plan is to remain there until the end of the regular season. It is almost impossible to predict how many wins would they need in the last 6 rounds to succeed in that mission, but if they manage to defeat Krka on Saturday evening, it will be a major step toward fulfilling the final goal.
On the other side Krka arrive in Skopje with new head coach and with really awful previous results. Counting both ABA League and FIBA Europe Cup, the team from Novo mesto have suffered 7 consecutive defeats! They simply need to stop that losing streak... The game in Skopje is their next chance to do such a thing.
Match-up in focus: Uroš Luković has been playing really fantastic since he came to MZT Skopje Aerodrom. He is especially good in rebounding and blocking, but, now he will confront a center which is much physically stronger than him - Jure Lalić. Both of them have their advantages, the only question is who will manage to use them on a better way.
