Euroleague: Zvezda outplayed Lokomotiv Kuba

Crvena zvezda Telekom have outplayed Lokomotiv Kuban at home in Pionir Hall in Euroleague Top 16. A night before, Cedevita lost to Fenerbahce in Istanbul.

The squad led by Dejan Radonjić made all red and white fans proud once again as they have managed to knock down another Euroleague powerhouse Lokomotiv Kuban in Pionir Hall after being a better opponent throughout the game.

The reigning ABA League champions let the guests know who is in charge as early as the first quarter, when they scored no less than 33 points and went ahead to the double digit lead. They managed to hold on to it until the very end when the score was 80:66.

Quincy Miller led the way in scoring for Zvezda with 24 points, while Tarence Kinsey added 19.

Cedevita suffered a defeat against Fenerbahce on the road, but the Zagreb crew made a good performance against one of the best teams in Europe.

After the 1st quarter Cedevita were in a very bad situation in Istanbul. Fenerbahce were in front by 27:12 and it looked like that the Istanbul powerhouse will score a convincing win. However, there were several turnarounds, that made the fans believe that the game could end another way but... At the end, Fenerbahce scored a double-digit win.
