Game recap: This game was simply super exciting… Even for ABA League standards which are extremely high after everything we have seen in the past. There was an overtime, a very loud crowd on the stands, then a player who was the absolute hero in one moment, but just a bit later he ruined everything, and eventually we had a huge celebration of the home team. Sutjeska were in front for the whole time, but they obviously started thinking that it"s over way too soon. Krka won the last quarter by 29:11 and had a shot for the win… They missed it and lost the match in the overtime.
Key moments: It has started with Matic Rebec. Krka point guard made three consecutive 3pts shots from way behind the line and brought the lead to his team! However, the same player ruined everything only a few moments later. He firstly missed a three-pointer, then made a turnover and finally missed a shot in the last second that could have won the game for Krka. In the overtime, Sutjeska had their own hero. It was Nikola Pavlićević who made two three-pointers in a row and put the hosts in front at 83:79… They kept the lead until the end.
Man of the match: Obviously it was Nikola Pavlićević. He was the top scorer in the winning team with 20 points, while we have already described those two key shots that he made in the overtime.
Can'trick the stats: Krka were way behind Sutjeska for the most of the game and it was obvious that, if they somehow managed to return, they would have just a single chance to score a win. It was that 3pts attempt made by Matic Rebec. It did not go through the basket...
