Defeat in Kazan ended Olimpija’s European journey

The European season is over for Union Olimpija and the Dragons ended it with a defeat at far away court in Kazan against Unics, where they suffered their fifth Last 32 defeat.

Union Olimpija ended their European season with the road defeat against Unics Kazan in Russia, where they lost after they were behind for the majority of the game, but were everything but outplayed in the end.

As Unics have gone up by 9 points at the end of the third quarter it became clear that a win would be hard to get for the visiting team and that is the way it was. In the end, the score was 72:64 in favour of the team from Kazan.

For Union Olimpija, Dawan Robinson led the way in scoring with 12 points, while Gregor Hrovat and Zack Wright added 10 each.
