ABA League 24th round, Saturday, 13.2.2016:
CIBONA - Krka 85:78 (26:15, 15:15, 20:24, 24:24)
Game recap: The Wolves are winning again! After last week's close defeat against Mega Leks, Cibona managed to bounce back on their feet and to prevail over Krka in Dražen Petrović Hall. With some loud support of their fans, the hosts made a flying start by winning the opening quarter 26:15. It turned out that those 10 minutes were actually key moments in this game. Cibona have successfully kept the lead until the end and scored a valuable triumph.
Key moments: Krka tried several times to make a comeback, but their attempts were simply not good enough. They made their final rush at the beginning of the fourth quarter by reducing the margin to 61:54. However, Cibona answered back with 11:4 run and got back on a safe distance - 72:58.
Man of the match: Nebojša Joksimović was the top scorer of the game with 20 points, while half of them came from a free-throw line. Now check this out - Joksimović was just perfect from the line as he had 10 attempts and 10 made free-throws!
Can't trick the stats: Interesting enough, Cibona had more turnovers than Krka, less assists than Krka, less steals than Krka and only 1 single rebound more than Krka. Still, they won the game at the end. It seems that you can trick the stats sometimes...
