Tajfun and Krka made big steps toward semifinals

Tajfun and Krka scored away wins in the 1^st legs of the Slovenian Cup Quarterfinals. Union Olimpija will have to collect a win in the rematch in order to advance to the next stage.

This year the Slovenian Cup has a bit different format than usual. The difference is that the quarterfinals are played in home/away format, so the winner of each pair will be determined after two head to head games.

Still, Tajfun have already completed more than half of the job, as they triumphed against šenčur on the road by 83:59, so the rematch should be just a formality. Krka also await the 2^nd leg with quite an advantage as they outplayed Helios on the road by 71:64.

The only ABA League team that suffered defeat in the 1^st leg of the quarterfinals is Union Olimpija. The Dragons got defeated by Zlatorog 82:81 on the road, so they need to win the rematch at home in order to progress to the semifinals.
