Budućnost and Krka reached the finals of national cups

Budućnost VOLI reached the final of Montengrin National Cup, by outplaying Ibar Rožaje 101:79 in the first semi-final pair with excellent performance of youngster Ognjen Čarapić that finished the game with 16 points on his account. The Podgorica side will face Mornar in the final, since the team from Bar outscored Sutjeska in the second semi-final par with the final score of 89:77. For Sutjeska Nemanja Vranješ led the way in scoring with 17 points.

In Slovenian National Cup semi-finals the fans in the legendary Tivoli Hal witnessed an ABA League derby, in which Krka prevailed over Tajfun with the score of 87:75. For Krka Mirko Mulalić led the way in scoring as he put in 17 points, while for Tajfun, Dragiša Drobnjak was the most efficient with 15 points. In the final, Krka will face Lastovka, which were better than Zlatorog in the other semi-final pair.

In Macedonia, the Final Eight tournament opened with the convincing triumph of MZT Skopje Aerodrom over the home team Best in Gevgelija. Aleksandar Jončevski's squad won by 31 points in the end with Damjan Stojanovski topping the scorers' list with 22 points on his account. In the semi-final, MZT will face Karpoš Sokoli, which were better than Strumica.

It well be an all-ABA League semi-final in Serbia, as Metalac Farmakom and Crvena zvezda Telekom have joined Mega Leks and Partizan NIS in the semis. Metalac Farmakom needed overtime to crack the resistance of Borac Čačak in the end with 96:86 and Nikola Jevtović was their top scorer with 26 points. Metalac will face Mega Leks in the semi-final.

Crvena zvezda Telekom cruised to victory over Smederevo with the final score of 89:44 and in the semi-final they will face Partizan NIS in the eternal Belgrade derby. The top scorer of the red and white was Nikola Rebić, who scored 13 points.
