Budućnost VOLI clinched their 9th national cup!

Budućnost VOLI have defended the trophy in the Montenegrin National Cup. In the final game, which was played in Morača Hall, The Blues defeated Mornar Bar by 90:80.

Domination continues! Budućnost VOLI defeated Mornar Bar and clinched their 9th national cup trophy! It was a pretty exciting final game. The Blues had a flying start, as they opened the game with 20:7 lead. However, Mornar refused to surrender and they even managed to take over the lead at 65:64. But, they could not keep the same rhythm until the end.

Budućnost VOLI made a quick 5:0 run and regained the lead at 69:65, while only a few moments later the winner was decided. The team from Podgorica increased the margin to 80:70 and performed a routine finishing.

It is worth mentioning that the leader of ABA League played in all 10 Montenegrin Cup finals, while they got defeated only in 2013 when Sutjeska won the trophy.
