Krka have won the Slovenian national cup trophy for the third time in a row and also for the third time in the history of the competition. They have outplayed Lastovka Domžale in the final in the Tivoli Hall.

The Novo mesto ABA League side did their job no later than in the opening half, when they limited Lastovka to only 17 points, whilst scoring 38 and left towards the locker room with a 21-point high advantage over the yellow team from Domžale.
In the second half their dominance continued, as they did not allow Lastovka to score for the opening 8 minutes of the second half. On the other side Vladimir Anzulović"s squad achieved 11 points during this period and took an 32 point lead! In the end, the score was 66:33 for Krka with Luka Lapornik scoring 13 points to top their scorers" list.
On their way towards the trophy, Krka first beat Helios Suns in the Quarter-finals (142:129 on aggregate in two games played in the quarters), which was followed by their victory in the ABA League clash in the semi-final of the Final Four tournament against Tajfun (87:75) in Tivoli Hall. In the final, they outgunned Lastovka, which were better than Zlatorog in the semi-final.
