History is written – Mega Leks won their first trophy

Mega Leks have written history! They won their first ever trophy in the club"s history by beating Partizan NIS in the final of Serbian National Cup.

Mega Leks have achieved a historical success for their club. In the final of Serbian National Cup in Čair, Niš, they have outscored Partizan NIS and claimed their first ever trophy in the history of the club.

It has been a close game in Niš, where neither side managed to create themselves a convincing margin and as it turned out in the end, Mega Leks" youth was the decisive thing in the end, as they have won the second half by seven points and managed to prevail in the end thanks to excellent finish to the game.

In the end, the score was 85:80 in favour of Dejan Milojević"s side, for which Nikola Ivanović led the way in scoring with 24 points. Danilo Nikolić followed him with 18, while Edo Murić and Vanja Marinković each scored 16 for the black and white.

On their way to the big success, Mega Leks first had to overcome Konstantin Niš in the quarter-final (78:61) and were afterwards better than Metalac Farmakom in the ABA League clash in the semi-final of the cup competition, before finally edging out Partizan NIS in the match for the glory.
