Igokea better than Široki in BiH Cup finals

Igokea have won the Bosnia and Herzegovina National Cup trophy by edging out široki in the final thanks to excellent second half. This is their second consecutive BiH National Cup winner title and fourth in the entire history.

Igokea have had to show everything they are capable of doing to claim the new national cup winner trophy, but they have managed to do it with an excellent second half performed against široki in the final game in Mrkonjić Grad.

Dragan Bajić"s squad began strongly, led by 7 points at the end of first period, but by the end of the opening 20 minutes, široki have cut the gap to only two points (42:40). When it seemed that it might turn into a close game until the very end, Igokea increased their game intensity and broke the game into their favour already in the third quarter, after which they were up by 12 points.

At the end, the score was 95:77 for the Aleksandrovac ABA League side and Sergerio Gipson was the top scorer with 24 points, while Vuk Radivojević added 15.

On their way towards the final, Igokea firstly edged out OKK Spars 91:63, before knocking down široki in the gold medal game.
