Road win! Cibona defeated Juventus in Lithuania by 83:78 and took the lead in the FIBA Europe Cup Eight-Finals series!
It could not have started better! Cibona made a huge break already at the start of the FIBA Europe Cup Eight-Finals series, so they will have a "match point" in front of their fans in Zagreb! The Wolves played a great game in Lithuania. Especially in the first half after which they had +17 (50:33)!
It was very important to stay calm after the break and Cibona managed to keep the same margin until the end of the third quarter. Then, Juventus started playing much better, but there was simply not enough time for the hosts to create some major comeback.
The second game of the series is scheduled for March 2, with Cibona being the host. The first team to score two wins will advance to the Quarter-Finals.
