Cibona entered FIBA Europe Cup Quarter-finals
Cibona have swept their Round of 16 series of FIBA Europe Cup with Lithuanian side Juventus Utena by winning in Zagreb as well. The final score of the second game was 87:84.

Cibona have achieved a huge success by reaching FIBA Europe Cup Quarter-finals, by sweeping their Round of 16 series against side Juventus Utena. To do so, Damir Mulaomerović's squad have beaten the Lithuanians at home as well, after previously managing to do so on the road in Utena.
The beginning of the game in Dražen Petrović Arena was not as promising as one might have thought taking into consideration the final outcome of the game. The guests opened the game strongly, taking an 8-point lead after the initial quarter (22:14). However, Cibosi fought back and pawed themselves the way to a 1-point lead at half time. In the following minutes, the it has been anybody's game and with 10 minutes remaining on the clock, Juventus were up by a point, but Cibona managed to turn it around in their favour in the final minute and a half with a decisive 6:0 run.
The final score was 87:84 in favour of the home side for which Filip Krušlin led the way in scoring with 27 points, while James Florence followed with 25.
In the FIBA Europe Cup Quarter-finals, Cibona will face Russian side Enisey Krasnoyarsk, which eliminated Turk Telekom in the Round of 16.
