Zvezda powerless against Fener once agai

Crvena zvezda Telekom got defeated by Fenerbahce for the 4^th time in this season. The red and whites were very close of making a major break in Istanbul, but they dropped a double digit lead in the second half.

Fenerbahce are definitely too strong for Crvena zvezda Telekom at this moment. There is no more doubt about that, as the Turkish crew wrote down their 4^th win against the Belgrade side in a single season. Still, this game was perhaps the most exciting of them all…

The red and whites played a brilliant first half in Istanbul. Especially in defense, as they let the Turkish giant score only 25 points for 20 minutes - 25:34!!! Crvena zvezda Telekom opened the second half quite good as they escaped on a double-digit lead - 26:36, but then it started...

It was a complete nightmare for the Belgrade side. Their defense fell apart, while they were not making good decisions offensively. The outcome was simply brutal - Fenerbahce won the third quarter by 24:6 and completely turned the things around.

In the last quarter the hosts were keeping their lead without any problems, mostly thanks to unbelievable performance of Luigi Datome who was scoring baskets from all positions.
