ABA TV: Radonjić - "We had one and only goal"

Crvena zvezda Telekom head coach Dejan Radonjić was clearly satisfied after his team defeated Cedevita on the road and qualified for the ABA League Finals.

"I think that this was a clash of the two best teams in the ABA League. Therefore, we are very glad that we have managed to win the series by 2-0 and to advance to the finals. We had one and only goal before this game - To score a win in Zagreb. We were not thinking about the third game for more reasons. The first one was obviously because we wanted to reach the finals, while the second one was our busy schedule. We have had so many travels recently that we really wanted to avoid playing that third game."

Radonjić added that his team needed some time in the Game 2 to show their real strength.

"It was a very difficult match. We had a good start, but then Cedevita took over the control over the game thanks to their offensive rebounds and to our turnovers. Still, we managed to stay close, while in the second half we were much better defensively and much smarter offensively. At the end we have scored some important shots in the key moments and achieved a truly great result."
