Cibona still in the race for FIBA Europe Cup Semi-finals

Cibona have beaten Russian VTB League side Enisey Krasnoyarsk in the second game of the FIBA Europe Cup Quarter-Finals, tied the series to 1:1 in victories and will battle for the semis in the decisive third game, which will be played in Krasnoyarsk.

After failing to triumph in the first game on the road in Russia, Cibona have managed to do so in the second quarter-final clash of the FIBA Europe Cup and are now only a step away from advancing among the best four teams of the competition. However, it will not be a small step, since Damir Mulaomerović and his players have to claim the victory in Siberia in order to achieve it.

The game did not begin too well for the Wolves of Zagreb, since Enisey went on a three-point lead as the first quarter came to an end. However, after that, the fans in Dražen Petrović Arena have witnessed a one-way traffic, as Cibona tied the score to 34:34 at half time and then completely turned the game into their favour in the third period with a 25:16 partial score.

In the end, the scoreboard has shown the result 77:69 and who else but Ante Žižić was the one with the highest number of points on his account - 18. Nebojša Joksimović added 15 and James Florence 13.
