First match point for Crvena zvezda, Cedevita host Fener

If Crvena zvezda Telekom defeat Lokomotiv Kuban, they will take over the 2nd spot in the TOP 16 Group E and definitely qualify for the Euroleague Playoffs! Cedevita play against Fenerbahce at home.

Only two days after advancing to the ABA League Finals, Crvena zvezda Telekom have another very tough challenge in front of themselves. They have already traveled to Krasnodar where they are about to face Lokomotiv Kuban (Thursday, 18:00 CET).

Recall that in the first game in Belgrade, the red and whites triumphed by 80:66, while if they manage to defeat the Russian giant once again, then the boys coached by Dejan Radonjić will take over the 2nd spot in the Group E!!! And, more importantly, it would mean that Crvena zvezda Telekom have definitely qualified for the Euroleague Playoffs, as they need just one more win to secure a place among the top 8 teams in Europe.

One day later, Cedevita will have quite a challenge at home court. Because, they will host none other than Fenerbahce, the leader of Group E (Friday, 19;00 CET)! The Turkish side have lost only one single game so far in the TOP 16 stage, but they are coming to Zagreb without one of the best players - Jan Vesely. Perhaps, Cedevita can use that to make a huge upset this week.
