Crvena zvezda Telekom still have to wait for the confirmation of their Euroleague Playoffs ticket, as they did not manage to beat Darussafaka Dogus at home in Kombank Arena in a game, that could already take them amongst the top 8. Cedevita will face Panathinaikos in Athens.

Kombank Arena in Belgrade was set to celebrate Zvezda"s triumph and clinching a spot amongst the best eight teams in the Euroleague, but in the end the red and white players failed to bring joy on the faces of more than 18000 of their fans in the stands.

Dejan Radonjić"s men started the game strongly and led by five points after the first quarter (20:15). This was also their highest lead of the game, which they reached again with less than four minutes remaining until the end of the third quarter, when they went up 48:43, after a successful three-point shot attempt by Nemanja Dangubić.

However, Darussafaka responded strongly, with a 12:1 run until the end of the quarter, and turned the game in their favour. In the last quarter, which they won by 13 points, they only confirmed the major comeback and won in Belgrade and complicated the situation in the group, in terms of advancing into the next stage.

The final score was 80:61 in favour of the guests and Quincy Miller was the top scorer of Zvezda with 18 points on his account. Dangubić followed him with 14.
