CSKA is the team that is in front by one victory after the end of the first game of the Quarter-final series of the Euroleague, as they have topped Crvena zvezda Telekom at home in Moscow with the final score of 84:74.
Zvezda proved their determination to get away with an upsetting win in the opening minutes, as they have gone up on a 7:2 lead. However, CSKA replied instantly, quickly caught up with the guests and took a 25:20 lead after 10 minutes played.
It turned out that these were the decisive moments of the game, as the guests have never truly managed to threaten the lead of the home side until the end of the game and suffered a double-digit defeat in the end. Stefan Jović and Quincy Miller were the ones that led the way in scoring for the red and white with 14 points scored each.
