Despite a very good display, Crvena zvezda Telekom suffered a road defeat against CSKA Moscow in the Game 2 of the Euroleague Playoffs.

Mixed feelings. That is how every single Crvena zvezda Telekom fan feel after the Game 2 in Moscow. Yes, the fans are all very sad because of a close defeat, but they are also super proud on their team for being more than just a worthy opponent against one of the best teams in Europe.

Crvena zvezda Telekom were so close of making a break against mighty CSKA in the Euroleague Playoffs. They had a ball possession, with 20 seconds remaining on the clock… Stefan Jović stormed toward the basket, but he slipped and made a travelling violation...

There were only 2,9 seconds left to be played, Maik Zirbes fouled Andrey Voroncevich who did miss both free throws… But, there was simply not enough time for Crvena zvezda Telekom to change anything. Tarence Kinsey made a rebound and tried an impossible full-court 3pts shot… He missed. The score remained the same: CSKA Moscow - Crvena zvezda Telekom 77:76.

Still, if there is anything good in this defeat then it is the fact that the red and whites showed they can play against the top European basketball powerhouses.

The series now move to Belgrade, where Crvena zvezda Telekom will try to stay alive with a help of 20.000 loud fans.
