Crvena zvezda Telekom have ended their European season after the 3rd game of the Euroleague Quarter-finals against CSKA, which they lost at home after a great battle and leading for a good part of the game.

Despite failing to triumph in any of the games in their Quarter-final series of the Euroleague against CSKA Moscow, Crvena zvezda Telekom can be proud of their "Cinderella story”, since they have reached the Euroleague Top Eight against all of the odds and gave the Russian powerhouse a great resistance in all of the three games.

The red and white entered the game with only one thing on their mind - victory. They demonstrated it with a great start, as they took a 16:10 lead in the opening quarter. However, CSKA did not panic and managed to take the lead at half time (36:35).

In the second half, the Moscow squad finally prevailed and the third quarter has been the decisive one. The guests made a partial score of 23:12 in the opening 10 minutes of the second half and decided the game in their favour. Although Zvezda managed to cut the deficit to only a point in the dying minutes of the game, they just did not have the strength to turn it around again.

The final score was 78:71 in favour of CSKA, which advanced to the Euroleague Final Four tournament with 3:0 score in victories. Quincy Miller became the top scorer of Crvena zvezda Telekom with 15 points, while Vladimir štimac followed him with 12.
