Budućnost VOLI and Mornar to fight for the trophy in Montenegro

After sweeping their semi-final series against Ulcinj and Sutjeska with 2:0 in victories, respectively, Budućnost VOLI and Mornar are the finalists of Montenegrin national championship and will battle for the trophy.

After sweeping their semi-final series against Ulcinj and Sutjeska with 2:0 in victories, respectively, Budućnost VOLI and Mornar are the finalists of Montenegrin national championship and will battle for the trophy.

Budućnost VOLI, after claiming a win in the first semi-final game against Ulcinj, have remained confident even an the road in Ulcinj, celebrating 81:66 in the end and advanced into the finals of Montenegrin national championship with 2:0 in victories. Đetići decided the game in their own favour as early as in the opening quarter, which they have won 27:16 and afterwards controlled the flow of the game without any difficulties. Julius Jenkins was the top scorer of Podgorica side with 16 points, while Suad šehović added 15.

In the other semi-final pair Mornar was convincing once again against Sutjeska. The home side celebrated a huge 106:84 win in Bar. In front of their home fans, Marko Mugoša (26 points) and his teammates decieded the clash in the opening half, which they have won by 30 points! The rest was just a formality.

The final series between Budućnost VOLI and Mornar is played in the best of three format.
