In the interview for the ABA League TV, Crvena zvezda Telekom point guard Stefan Jović spoke about the forthcoming final series against Mega Leks and stated that due to their style of the game, Mega Leks are not an upset for him this season.

The ABA League Finals are approaching. How are your preparations going at the moment?

"You know how we finished our European season - with a historical success in the Euroleague. After the end of our series against CSKA we had two days off, then we started preparing for the ABA League Finals, to which we are fully focused now. I believe that in the in the forthcoming couple of days we will do our best to prepare ourselves maximally and that we will be ready for the first clash against Mega Leks.”

You have only one goal, of course - to win the championship rings and trophy…

"Of course. We all know that the hardest thing is to stay on top after you were the best in a competition before. Mega Leks have already done a great success by eliminating Budućnost VOLI in the Semi-finals. They will not have a burden of high expectations upon them. It can make things easier for them. We have to provide an adequate answer to their style of the game, which is atypical in comparison with the ones of the other teams in the ABA League. We have to enforce our style of the game and to try to win the series.”

Did Mega Leks surprise you in any way this season? They have won Radivoj Korać Cup, they have entered the ABA League Finals, as well as given you a proper battle in your two mutual exciting games this season.

"To be honest, given that they have brought in several reinforcements like young Ivanović from Budućnost VOLI, like the foreigners that many of us did not know before, I and many others just did not know what to expect from them, but the people working in Mega Leks knew what they were doing. Their style is pretty atypical for our region and this is what their game is based on. For me their success now, when I look back, is not surprising since they are a young team which creates pressure throughout the 40 minutes of each game and they win many games thanks to their physical supremacy.”

In your semi-final series with Cedevita it turned out that first game was extremely important for its outcome. Can it this time turn out to be the same?

"We just have the proper attitude towards the game in the opening game, in front of our fans. For sure we would be under a lot of pressure. But all those tensions should stay out of the court, we must keep them out of our heads and to do our job in the best way possible.”
