The reigning champions have successfully started their quest of defending the throne. Budućnost VOLI did not have an easy job in the Game 1 of the Montenegrin Championship Finals, but they eventually managed to break the resistance of Mornar Bar and to take the opening lead in the series.
Budućnost VOLI made the crucial run in the last two minutes when they scored 7 points, while their rivals failed to score a single basket.
The Game 2 is scheduled for Monday, May 2.
The first team to score 3 wins will clinch the national title.
